Was kündigte NVIDIA auf der IBC 2026 für Medien und Sport an?

NVIDIA announced an expansion of NVIDIA AI for Media at IBC 2026, adding tools and partner integrations for video authenticity checks, body-pose tracking, frame generation, video enhancement, HDR conversion, lip-synced translation and speech processing. NVIDIA also highlighted Holoscan for Media, Sports Intelligence Playbooks and a real-time content-localization workflow for broadcasters, sports organizations and streaming services.

Das Wichtigste

  • NVIDIA announced a major expansion of NVIDIA AI for Media, a collection of GPU-accelerated SDKs, NIM microservices, playbooks and blueprints for media workflows.
  • Das Unternehmen teilte mit, dass sein Detektor für synthetische Videos bei Text-zu-Video-Inhalten eine Genauigkeit von 99,3 % und bei Bild-zu-Video-Inhalten von 97,7 % erreichte.
  • NVIDIA highlighted partner integrations involving Dalet, TwelveLabs, Wowza, Vizrt, Ross Video and NDI.
  • Das Unternehmen stellte außerdem Holoscan for Media, Sports Intelligence Playbooks und einen mehrsprachigen Workflow zur Lokalisierung von Inhalten vor.

At IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, NVIDIA announced a major expansion of NVIDIA AI for Media, a collection of GPU-accelerated software development kits, NVIDIA NIM microservices, playbooks and blueprints for media and entertainment workflows.

Video authenticity and live analysis

NVIDIA said its Synthetic Video Detector NIM microservice has reached 99.3% accuracy for text-to-video content and 97.7% for image-to-video content. Dalet is integrating the service into a secure, cloud-hosted verification workflow that lets news editors submit footage and review scores and metadata.

TwelveLabs said its Compliance by TwelveLabs application now integrates the detector’s frame-level authenticity signals and confidence scores. Wowza will distribute the service through its Video Intelligence Framework for real-time analysis of live feeds, including detected objects, scenes and signs of AI generation. NVIDIA said the framework can run on premises, at the edge, in the cloud, in hybrid deployments or in air-gapped environments.

NVIDIA also highlighted 3D Body Pose, which estimates 2D and 3D human joint locations and angles from single-camera video. The company said sports organizations can use the resulting data for movement tracking, biomechanics, performance analysis, replay, officiating, safety applications and virtual experiences. Vizrt is using the technology to drive real-time lighting effects in virtual studios.

Frame generation and video enhancement

NVIDIA said Video Frame Generation creates intermediate frames to make motion smoother, increasing frame rates by 2x or 4x. Ross Video is integrating it into Rio Replay for AI-assisted sports slow motion, with current work supporting 6x slow-motion generation and development underway toward 8x interpolation.

NVIDIA Video Super Resolution upscales video while reducing noise, blur and compression artifacts. The company said new streaming modes let developers choose between real-time performance and higher image quality, with adjustable controls, 10-bit support and improved performance. NVIDIA TrueHDR converts standard-dynamic-range video to high-dynamic-range output in real time, reaching approximately 2,000 nits. NVIDIA said VSR, VFG and TrueHDR can be combined in one video-effects pipeline.

Media infrastructure, sports models and localization

NVIDIA presented Holoscan for Media with the Media Exchange Layer, an open exchange layer for live video, audio and data across distributed software-defined production environments.

Sports Intelligence Playbooks provide frameworks for fine-tuning NVIDIA open models on proprietary sports footage and annotations. NVIDIA reported early testing results of approximately 53% to 94% in multiple-choice accuracy and 5.7% to 66% in open-ended evaluation on previously unseen footage.

NVIDIA is also bringing Content Localization technologies to Holoscan for Media. The reference workflow supports captions, translated audio, dubbing, synchronized video and localized graphics. NVIDIA highlighted LipSync, Active Speaker Detection and Studio Voice capabilities for multilingual broadcasts and enhanced speech.
