Ray Tracing for Ultimate Members

According to NVIDIA, Ultimate members can now play the Modern Warfare 4 campaign with ray tracing, enabled by newly added GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud. NVIDIA says this performance tier is available across PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, browsers and supported TVs.

NVIDIA describes the game's campaign as following Private Park, a South Korean soldier experiencing his first combat, and Captain Price, who the company says is operating outside the military system he once served. The company says multiplayer includes a dozen 6v6 maps, while the DMZ mode sends players into contested territory to recover technology and decide when to extract.

NVIDIA says GeForce NOW in-app purchases are now rolling out to existing supported Fire TV Stick users, letting them buy one-month Performance or Ultimate memberships directly through Amazon using an existing account. The company says these transactions are processed through Amazon's billing system.

NVIDIA says GeForce NOW turns a Fire TV Stick into a cloud PC gaming setup, letting members stream PC games they already own or buy new titles from stores including Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect, Xbox PC Game Pass, GOG and EA. The company says its library includes thousands of ready-to-play games and more than 100 free-to-play titles.

Other Titles Added This Week

NVIDIA says Square Enix's FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE also launched on GeForce NOW, describing it as bringing the series' classic roots into a cinematic pixel-art world with companions, Visions of past FINAL FANTASY characters and a stagger-and-break battle system. The company says GeForce NOW handles the game's downloads and storage in the cloud.

NVIDIA also says The Elder Scrolls Online's second season, Echoes of Skyrim, launched Oct. 21 free for all ESO Standard Edition owners, adding Skyrim content, the Antiquities treasure-hunting system and new Solo Dungeons that redesign the Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices group challenges for single players.
