Three connected programs
The collective operates through three programs covering instruction, peer learning and product experimentation.
The AI Fluency Learning Series, developed with Anthropic’s education team, has six live episodes about AI fluency, Claude’s capabilities and classroom applications. More than 530 educators attended the first series in November 2025.
Claude Connect serves as an ongoing community hub. Anthropic said more than 1,000 educators representing over 60 countries use it to exchange prompts, use cases and discoveries through daily peer conversations.
Claude Lab is an innovation program for educators who want to test practical implementations using advanced Claude features. Participants receive Claude Pro access, attend monthly office hours with Anthropic and can provide input on Claude’s product roadmap. Anthropic said the program received more than 200 applications within four days of its announcement.
Classroom projects
Anthropic described several tools educators have created through the initiative. In Liberia, a teacher who was new to AI attended the collective’s live AI fluency training and, within weeks, built an interactive climate education curriculum for Liberian schools using Claude Artifacts. Anthropic describes Artifacts as interactive tools, including apps, games and visualizations, that Claude can create.
In Bangladesh, a teacher working with Grade 6 and 7 students built a gamified mathematics learning application with boss battles, a leaderboard and experience-point rewards. More than half of the teacher’s students had struggled with basic numeracy, according to the announcement.
Rosina Bastidas, a technology educator at Enseña por Argentina, said she had developed multiple educational artifacts after discovering Claude through the initiative. She was also designing interactive digital workspaces for secondary school students aligned with the curriculum.
The initiative follows other education programs described by Anthropic. The company said it launched a national AI education pilot in Iceland and partnered with Rwanda’s government and ALX to provide AI education to hundreds of thousands of learners across Africa. Anthropic also cited its participation in the White House Taskforce on AI Education.
