Microsoft details Copilot and Power Platform agenda for PPCC 2026

Microsoft announced programming for the fifth annual Power Platform Community Conference, or PPCC, scheduled for October 27–29, 2026, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The company says the event will focus on using Microsoft Copilot, Work IQ, agents, applications, workflows and data to improve business processes while maintaining security and governance.

Microsoft says PPCC 2026 will bring together business experts, developers, solution builders, administrators and organizational leaders. Attendees will be asked to bring a business process from their own organization and examine how applications, automation, agents and human review can work across it.

Conference program

The company plans more than 200 sessions and 24 hands-on workshops, as well as keynotes, product talks, roundtables, certifications and community activities. Microsoft says the programming will cover architecture, agent design, automation, data, security, governance and the movement of AI projects from experimentation into production.

The opening keynote is scheduled for October 27. Ryan Cunningham, Microsoft’s corporate vice president for Copilot Studio and Power Platform, says he will join Microsoft Executive Vice President Charles Lamanna to discuss what is next for Copilot, agents and Power Platform, along with what organizations can build using those technologies.

Microsoft identified several sessions and workshops in the conference agenda:

• A customer executive panel led by Srini Raghavan, corporate vice president of Copilot and Agents Ecosystem, will cover business-process projects using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
• A session on Dataverse, Copilot and Work IQ will examine how Dataverse supplies agents with business data, meaning and reusable business skills.
• A Copilot Studio session will demonstrate how workflows and agent reasoning can be combined in complex business processes.
• A security session will address permissions, data access, data loss prevention policies and enterprise AI guardrails for agents moving into production.
• A full-day workshop will guide attendees through an end-to-end process using applications, automation, agents, Microsoft Dataverse, human approvals, governance, security and application lifecycle management.

Business-process focus

Microsoft used procurement as an example of the type of process attendees will examine. In the company’s scenario, an employee begins a request in Copilot, an agent gathers supplier information and purchasing policies, an application applies permissions and approval rules, and a workflow handles routine steps. Higher-risk exceptions are sent to a person for review.

The company also cited an AI-powered Game Ops Dashboard created for the NFL with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Power Platform. Microsoft says the dashboard standardized incident reporting and supported longer-term operational learning for stadium operations.

Other conference activities will include an Expo Hall, Makers Market and Community Lounge. Microsoft says full conference attendees can join an evening event on October 28 featuring a live performance by Pitbull.
